Local Events

We have already held a number of events and public exhibitions to keep the community updated on our proposals for Allerton Waste Recovery Park.

The majority of these have been held close to the proposed development site at Allerton.

However, as our proposals will deal with waste from across York and North Yorkshire, we are holding public exhibitions across the county during October and November.

They provide an opportunity to find out more, meet our project team and ask questions. A full list of dates and venues is below - we hope to see you there.

• Wednesday 29th September – 9am to 6pm - Arkendale Community Hall
• Tuesday 19th October, 9.30am - 5.50pm - The Station, Richmond
• Wednesday 20th October, 9am - 5.30pm - The Golden Lion, Northallerton
• Thursday 21st October, 9am - 5.30pm - The Crown Spa Hotel, Scarborough
• Friday 22nd, 9am - 6pm - Ryedale Indoor Bowls, Norton
• Saturday 23rd October, 9am - 5.30pm - Kings Manor, York
• Tuesday 26th October, 9am - 6pm - Skipton Town Hall
• Thursday 11th November, 9am - 5.30pm Selby Town Hall
